Description
Look: dark green body with cream pattern. golden wings. males have a fork shaped horn.
size: 40 to 80 mm
Natural habitat: Cameroon
These larvae were captive bred in Belgium
Food imago: ripe fruits, beetle jelly, occasional bee pollen
temp/hygro: 20°C-30°C/70%-90%
Food larva: oak or beech peat / compost soil with white rotten wood from oak or beech / flake soil
communal or individual rearing: I prefer individual containers of 2 litres per larva. Yet communal rearing is possible with regular protein supplements as of L2/L3 and lots of white rotten wood.
