Description
Please note, the breeding pair was the green form but offspring larvae have a 50/50 chance of being either green or rainbow.
Look: metallic green red or green body with mirror sheen and green or copper pronotum
Imago: males and females can be distinguished by the size of the mandibles and line on the pronotum.
Natural habitat : Australia
These larvae were captive bred in Belgium
Food for the imago: ripe fruit, beetle jelly
temp/hygro: 20°C – 26 °C / 80%-90%
Food for the larva: flake soil or kinshi
Communal or individual rearing: communal rearing until L2 is possible, individual rearing advised as of L2
cycle completion: 6 to 10 months depending on gender and temperature
